Centrecom’s management team is comprised of personnel with long experience in the aviation sector as well as professionals from other backgrounds, which are new to the Group. This combination ensures that the Group not only builds on its heritage in the aviation and tourism industries, but is also equipped with the expertise to assist its growth into other commercial sectors.
 
At Centrecom, we operate a relatively flat organisational structure that gives equal weight to our constituent parts and gives all branches of the business the opportunity to add value and help form overall strategy.

Leslie Cassar AM

Director

Previously Leslie enjoyed a long and successful career with Qantas Airways in Australia and overseas where his final position was Regional General Manager Continental Europe and Middle East. He then joined as a partner-owner and Group Managing Director of Concorde International Travel and also founded World Aviation Systems, successfully representing many airlines in Australia, New Zealand, North America, Asia and Europe both online and offline. Leslie has dedicated more than 35 years to enhancing the strong relations that exist between Australia, Italy and Malta, his family’s ancestral homes. In 1997 he was decorated by the Australian Government with The Order of Australia (AM) in recognition of his services to the Australian Aviation & Travel Industry and for furthering Australia-Malta relations.

In 2008 Leslie was awarded the prestigious Medal of Merit by the Maltese Government for his contribution to aviation.

Leslie has served on the board of Tourism New South Wales for nine years and as Chairman and now that Tourism has merged with Events NSW, Leslie serves as a  Board Advisor of the new Government entity called Destination New South Wales responsible for Tourism and major events. Leslie also served as Chairman for the Transport & Tourism Forum for 8 years.
 

Anthony Cassar

Director

Anthony has over 25 years experience in Contact Centres, BPO, Aviation and Tourism. He started as a Commercial Lawyer specialising in Tourism and Aviation and Mergers and Acquisitions and remains a member of the New South Wales Law Society. He also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree. Previously he was Commercial Projects Manager for The Concorde Group and World Aviation Systems. Anthony is also currently Managing Director of Aviation Online an Airline Representation company and Breakaway Travelclub specialising in holiday packages for the Travel, Aviation & Hotel Industry.  
 
Based in Sydney, Anthony’s focus is on Business Development, and able to meet with local Australian and New Zealand businesses looking to outsource to Pacific Centrecom in Fiji.


Colin Hughes

Director


Col has been in the Airline Industry for over 40 years. He began his career in Qantas serving in Japan, USA, Europe and South East Asia. He then moved to Cathay Pacific in Hong Kong as GM marketing services Worldwide, then to Bahrain as GM Middle East. After 11 years at CX he moved to Continental Airlines as GM Pacific. Subsequently he moved to Northwest as VP Asia Pacific in Hong Kong. In 1995 Col moved back to Qantas as Group General Manager International for 8 years. In 2003, together with Anthony Cassar, founded a GSA company, Global Aviation Services which then merged with World Aviation Systems to form the largest GSA Company in Asia pacific with 41 client carriers (9 online carriers).

Shane Collins

General Manager (Australia, New Zealand & Fiji), Pacific Centrecom (Fiji) Limited

Recently appointed President of the BPO Council of Fiji, with over 35 years’ in contact center experience, Shane brings a diverse skill set to the business.  He has held senior management positions in Qantas Holidays and Helloworld.

Before establishing Pacific Centrecom (Fiji) Limited in Suva, he completed his tenure at Helloworld as General Manager – Wholesale Operations.  Experience in Contact Centre Management, Strategic Projects and Airline servicing.
 

Sanjesh Deo

Financial Controller, Pacific Centrecom (Fiji) Limited

Sanjeshbrings with him over 13 years of finance experience. Prior to joining Pacific Centrecom, he was the manager finance for Pacific Retail at ANZ Regional Office, based in Suva Fiji. He joined ANZ in 2002 as a part time teller. At ANZ he was a senior finance member and part of finance leadership team with extensive hands on experience in Business Management, leadership and has worked with various senior stakeholders in ANZ Group.

Sanjeshis well versed with; Financial Planning & strategies, Finance Business Partnering, External Reporting, Financial Control  & Taxes, Financial Projects Manager, Financial Governance and Assurance, Staff management and Development
 

Sameer Narayan

ICT Coordinator, Pacific Centrecom (Fiji) Limited

Sameer has 16 years of IT experience and the ability to analyze IT problems pragmatically fine-tuned through his professional roles. Some of the platforms he has worked on, to name a few are: Proxy Server, Firewall, Anti-virus, MS Exchange & Mail Daemon E-mail Server, SAN & NAS System, Robotic Tape Libraries, VMWare, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPNs.

Before joining Pacific Centrecom (Fiji) Limited Sameer held position of Senior IT Network Engineer at the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation, Fiji’s biggest Television and Radio Services provider.
 

Hitesh Chandra

Human Resources Coordinator, Pacific Centrecom (Fiji) Limited

With 8 years of Experience in the Field of Human Resources.

Hitesh is a Registered and Qualified Trainer Instructor with Fiji National University, an Accredited OHS trainer of Ministry of Employment, Productivity & Industrial Relations (National OHS services), and Member of the Pacific TAFE Industry Professional Advisory Committee (IPAC) – Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and for Board of Studies for Human Resources for the University of the South Pacific  
 

Natalyn Lakhan

Executive Coordinator, Pacific Centrecom (Fiji) Limited

With 6 years experience in Marketing – Natalyn has worked in various roles before joining Pacific Centrecom (Fiji) Limited.  Experienced in Communications & Digital Marketing.  She has worked as Editorial Assistant at the University of the South Pacific – the largest Library in the South Pacificfocused on database management. 

Previously she worked for Breakaway Travelclub Australia as Product Coordinator, Razor Communications as Project Assistant and has a Degree in Tourism Studies & Land Use Planning from the University of the South Pacific.
